Pat Robertson…glad he ain’t President?

Certain areas of the U.S. want schools to teach "intelligent design" (i.e. God) instead of scientific evolution in the classroom. Hot topic, especially concerning the issue of separation of church and state. Should have been a dead issue considering the law, but people in power had to be voted in-or-out, or else the law (and science) could potentially lose because of these religious zealots in office. And in Pennsylvania, most zealots in power were voted out. YaY! Smart people live in PA!

The fearsome outcome of this devastating election? Former U.S. president wannabe Pat Robertson of the 700 Club warned the voters they could become victims of God’s wrath.

Robertson Quote: "I’d like to say to the good citizens of Dover: if there is a disaster in your area, don’t turn to God, you just rejected Him from your city"

Yup, that’s right, God pays attention to election results. And he punishes all voters regardless of how they voted. And please, if they are eternally damned because of how they voted, why did Robertson address them as "good citizens"…?

Robertson Quote: "And don’t wonder why He hasn’t helped you when problems begin, if they begin. I’m not saying they will, but if they do, just remember, you just voted God out of your city. And if that’s the case, don’t ask for His help because he might not be there"

Translation: Might happen…might not. If it does happen, He did it, and it’s YOUR fault. If it doesn’t, He is merciful, and Pat doesn’t look like a complete jackass…he only looks like an incomplete jackass.
